Career Center

♦ If you're looking for resources, information and tools to help you improve your job search success, the Career Center is the place to be! We have tutorials, books, videos, pamphlets and related materials, free for your use! Experienced staff is available to assist you in developing your resume and/or writing other job search correspondence such as cover letters, thank you letters, etc. You can learn basic and advanced computer skills at your convenience and at your own pace. The hours are: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (We are closed from 12pm-12:30pm for lunch.) The Career Center is located within the Fond du Lac Area Job & Career Center. |

Special Programs

♦ The Job Center offers many free services to individuals who meet certain eligibility guidelines. Services may include funds for training (books, tuition, childcare, transportation), On-the-Job-Training with area employers, individual counseling and job search assistance, job referrals, and hands-on work experience. You may qualify for these programs if you meet specific income guidelines and are in one or more of the following categories: Unemployed/Underemployed Older Worker age 55 or more Disabled Individuals Dislocated/Laid Off worker receiving or eligible for unemployment compensation Low income Youth Age 16-21 W2 participants current or recent participant Migrant Workers Veterans BadgerCare Plus ACCESS: A how-to guide for Wisconsin residents who need to access support services.
